A lot of people don't know that PayPal has very strict rules about using their payment processor. They divided countries in three different groups. Only people from countries in first group can receive money to their PayPal account (approximately 15 countries). People in second group can receive money only if they open U.S. bank account (approximately 20 countries). People who aren't residents of country that belong first or second group can open their PayPal account, but can't receive money, they can only use it to pay with.

I am a member of third group and can't receive money, which is very bad for my money making quest. Most of the good paying sites use only PayPal for payment processor. Sites with e-gold payment processor turn to scamms sooner or later.

But here is wonderful news from PayPal which was sent to me by e-mail. It all looks that problem will be solved soon and my country will be placed in the first group along with other members of European Union. Read this e-mail I received from PayPal support:

Last week, AdBux seems little strange to me. I didn't receive any clickable ad for 7 days. I ask my self "What’s wrong?" and then one comment on my blog attracted my attention. Some person writes comment about AdBux scamming people. I follow the links which were placed in comment and discovered some interesting sites and facts about AdBux.

The most impressive is AdBuxscam site. You can read how people were scammed by AdBux and that Chad Frensch is the owner of that site. Chad Frensch is well known scammer. Another one is AdBuxtruth blog. Where you can find interesting news about that paid to click program.

I even find unofficial forum where people talk about uncensord AdBux. Then I check official AdBux forum where I found this latest news:

Ad System
The new ad system is doing great! We’ve had record breaking ad sales this past week and it is only going to get better as we continue to grow the advertiser base. There were a few bugs when it launched and we’ve fixed most of them and will continue to fix the rest of the bugs over the next 4-5 days. Some new requirements and features that we will be adding is that advertisers cannot advertise to less than 1,000 users. This makes it fair to the members who are in smaller countries where targeting those countries are less popular. We will also be adding the ability for advertisers to easily choose “All Countries” as their first and foremost option OR they can select from a country list. Most of the time, we think a big reason why advertisers are geo-targeting only a few countries (or one country) is because they don’t have an easy method to select all countries which is something we hope to have up by tomorrow or this weekend.

New Payment Structure
Starting on August 1st (less than 2 weeks) AdBux will be changing the payment structure to include a new method of paying users (Pay by Check) as well as keeping the old method (PayPal) for those who prefer to use PayPal. This will expand our presence to just about every country who can cash American based checks. Furthermore, as everyone knows, we pay on a 3 business day delay system. Some users are able to make payout EVERY day, while some users make it once a week and others can make it once a month and so on. Reasons for this are primarily so we can keep better track of our earnings as a business, our monthly profits, our quarterly earnings, etc. Our current structure is unable to really do any of this and will have to be changed.

The minimum amount earned will still be $10 for payout and if a user selects the option to be paid with a check, there will be no fees deducted. Users will soon see new fields added to their profile sometime over the next week to include their address information as well as their name if they are choosing to be paid by a check.

US Based Accounts & the IRS
By law, any US based account holder who earns more then $600 a year with AdBux will have to fill out an 1099-misc form and submit it to us so we can process it at the end of the year and report it to the IRS. Once you hit $600 for the year 2007 and are a US based member, your account will be locked until you submit the form which will appear in your profile. The methods of sending the form to us will be included on the page (e-mail, fax, postal mail, etc). Once we’ve received the form, we will unlock your account so you can continue earning. Note: This is ONLY for US based accounts who earn $600 or more per year with AdBux.

How to recognize Scam Sites?

• There are many sites out there which promise emails worth the likes of $5, $50 or $100 and upwards. DO NOT join any of these sites. These are ridiculous attempts to take your money and you will never see a penny. EXCEPTIONS are so called "Redemption Only" sites where you can redeem your money for advertising only.

• Check the advertising price to see if sites selling ads under price. If for example, the site has 100 members and an email to all costs only $2 for a $10 link, you can clearly see that the site is underselling advertising. 100 members x $10 per member = $1,000. Therefore, the actual cost of the advertisement without taking into account the referral commission comes to $1,000. If a site sells this link for only $2, the site is sustaining a loss of $988 per advertisement sold. This is only an example but please note that there are sites selling $10, $20 and even links worth hundreds of dollars for just $2 - $3. Basic mathematical skills will show you that such sites are totally unsustainable and therefore, short lived.

June was very bad for my money making quest. Two best and easiest money making sites went offline. First site was AdRaker, which I bay-the-way trusted most. Second one was Adventure11. After these two sites went down I was really angry and started to think about leaving money making community. My first reaction to all of this was that I stopped posting on my money making blog. After few days I gathered my thoughts and decided to move on. After all, this is all part of business. You never know how much you will earn with some site and how much will you lose on another site.

What went wrong?

First I received mail from AdRaker where they informed me that CEO Mr. Thomson died and because of that they are selling the site to another company, but not to worry because our earnings will still be intact. That was three weeks ago and site is still offline.

I already say goodbye to my 10$ earnings and move the site to scam category. It is really shame for AdRaker, because he had potential to become number one money making program.

Another site wasn't investment site, so basically I didn't lose any money there. Adventure11 was about surfing for surprises site. You had to surf minimum of 11 sites a day and wait for money surfing surprise. It was really easy money.

Here is mail I received from administrator of Adventure11:

Adventure11 is closed!

Although the plan was to correct all problems and re-launch during August, this will no longer happen. Adventure11 has incurred a considerable amount of debt and the cost required to correct the problems and re-build the system is far greater than anticipated. A decision was required to either invest more funds into the project in order to continue or to cut losses and close Adventure11. The latter has been chosen. Adventure11 will not re-open in the future.

Adventure11 was extremely powerful with huge potential but it didn't work out the way that was expected. This is very unfortunate for all involved.

Congratulations to all those who won cash and made a considerable amount of income with Adventure11. Sorry to those who did not win any cash and we are extremely sorry to those who paid for advertising. Due to the nature of the system, there are no refunds and there is no compensation to be paid to any Advertiser who did not receive what they paid for.
